Jason Cruger Played by Alex Llera

Born and raised in Miami, I can honestly say that fitting in has been somewhat of a struggle for me from the very beginning. No matter how hard I tried to be “normal,” wherever I would go it seemed as though someone would think I was weird.

Even playing baseball, my first passion, at the tender age of 5 years-old, my self-esteem was pretty much beaten up all the way up until I decided to quit 10 years later and begin hitting the gym.

Growing up idolizing guys like Arnold Schwarzenegger,  Syslvester Stallone and Brett”The Hitman” Hart from the WWE, made me start thinking that I either wanted to be an actor or a professional wrestler. After realizing that most wrestlers end up taking pain killers for the rest of their lives, I figured I can always just rely on movie magic to make it look as if I was beaten to a bloody pulp and still look as cool…so that’s when I made the decision to become an actor!

Throughout my adolescent years, shooting on my mom’s video camera was  becoming a weekend routine as me and my friends would record our ridiculous antics on camera to laugh at ourselves later. In college I studied Film Production Technology to learn more about the film making process. After 4 semesters without being able to put myself in my own projects, the anxiety of not being in front of the camera got to me and so I finally attended my first official acting class.

After wrapping up a few short films of my own including, Breadcrumbs, getting my first callback from an audition and then experiencing being on a professional set, Rock Of Ages, I have finally found a niche where I can truly express myself and feel completely at home. Being a part of the cast of, Yet To Be Named, is truly a blessing and I look forward to entertaining you all with all the “weirdness” Jason Cruger has to offer!
