Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I began acting very young in attempts to mask my mischievous deeds from my parents. Through the tutelage and support of my high school theatre professor, I earned superior rankings at state competitions for both individual and group submissions, and became a member of the Thespians Honor Society. Highlights from this period include lead roles in Guys & Dolls and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

 

 

However, after graduation I had to admire drama and the theatre from a distance while I provided for my family. Through a serendipidous series of acquaintances, I was able to enter the world of independent cinema where the acting “spark” was reignited by the passion of those with whom I had worked. Highlights from this period include a supporting role in The Carousel, and leading roles in the promotional short Sheer Luck and the new funny youtube web series, Yet 2 Be Named.

 

I admire the art of acting and the power it has to join both character and audience in the same journey, if even for a short time.
